Shoulder Stretches

1.
  • Kneel on the floor
  • Lean forward with both your arms stretched out in front of you
  • Now take your right hand and place it under your left hand
  • Reach toward the left
  • As you lean forward try to lean down with your right shoulder
  • This stretch will target your right hand side
  • Hold for a count of 10
  • Repeat on opposite side
2.
  • Whilst kneeling on the ground take your right arm out to a position close to 2 o'clock on the clock's face
  • Lean forward and away from your right arm
  • Hold for a count of 10
  • Repeat on opposite side
  • Whilst kneeling on the ground take your right arm out to a position close to 9 o'clock on the clock's face
  • Lean forward and away from your right arm
  • Hold for a count of 10
  • Repeat on opposite side
3.
  • Sit on the floor with both legs out in front of you
  • Bend your left knee and bring your left foot in towards your groin
  • Bend your right knee but so that your right foot goes back towards your right buttock
  • Hold both arms out in front of you and bend them both to 90°
  • Bring your right arm across to your midline, and then bring your left arm across and under your right arm
  • Grab your hands together
  • Lean forward and to the left so that your right forearm rests down the length of your left thigh
