Arm Stretches

1.
  • Kneel on the floor
  • Take your right arm and lift it so that it is straight out in front of you at chest height
  • Now take it fully across your body
  • With your other arm place your hand on your right elbow
  • Now with your left hand push your right arm in towards your body
  • Hold for a slow count of 10
  • Repeat on opposite side
2.
  • Kneel on the floor
  • Take your right and straighten it above your head
  • Now bend your right arm so that your right hand is pointing towards the ground behind your back
  • Take your left hand and apply gentle pressure to your right elbow, pushing it further back behind you and down towards the floor
  • Hold for a count of 10
  • Repeat on opposite side
3.
  • Kneel on the floor
  • Place your left arm fully straightened with your palm facing upwards out in front of you
  • With your right arm grab your fingers and gently pull them straight down towards the floor without moving your left arm
  • Hold for a slow count of 10
  • Repeat on opposite side
4.
  • Kneel on the floor
  • Repeat the same stretch as previous but do it with your palm facing down towards the floor
  • Hold for a slow count of 10
  • Repeat on opposite side
5.
  • Kneel on the floor
  • Place your left arm fully straightened, with your little finger facing upwards and your thumb facing downwards, out in front of you
  • With your right arm grab your fingers and gently pull them straight up towards your left shoulder without moving your left arm
  • Hold for a slow count of 10
  • Repeat on opposite side
6.
  • Kneel on the floor
  • Place your left arm fully straightened, with your little finger facing upwards and your thumb facing downwards, out in front of you
  • Do the same with your right arm
  • Place your left arm over the top of your right arm
  • Interlock your fingers
  • Rotate your left arm so your palm is facing towards the floor
  • Hold for a count of 10
  • Repeat with the other arm
